Must be a Senior Retired SolidWorks Mechanical Design Engineer – near Fourways North JHB

Permanent Position

Must be willing to work Hybrid (from home as well as at the company premises near Fourways North JHB)

Will be doing Mechanical Designing 25 hours per week.

Must have a Mechanical Engineering Degree OR Mechanical Engineering Diploma

Must have a Matric / Grade 12

Must have a drivers license and car

Must have Mechanical Designing experience using Solidworks Fusion is essential.

Must have working designing experience in 3D CAD modelling SolidWorks + Finite Element Analysis+ pneumatic control systems

Must have gained work Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within the Automation industry Engineering systems OR other Industries – advantage

Must have Bom experience (Bills of material)

Experience gained design mechanical purpose-built machinery or other

Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge

Self-motivated and organized

Plan and lead medium to large design projects.

Perform design reviews.

Manage project risks.

Conduct complex and high-risk designs.

Ensure due diligence and go the extra mile.

Must have working experience in mechanical Designing manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable company standards using SolidWorks Fusion only.

Read and interpret, technical drawings

Work to company CAD and PDM standards.

Must have working experience in doing Detailed designs+ must be done to applicable ISO, SABS and customer standards.

Specify system components or direct modifications of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.

The Monthly Salary offered is Market related and according to the budget of our client ( Salary package is dependent on skills, Qualifications and years of relevant experience in this Vacancy only )
