Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SAP Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of SAP implementation, migration, or upgrade projects.

The SAP Project Manager will be responsible for aligning project objectives with business goals, managing cross‑functional project teams, and ensuring that scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SAP project delivery (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC), strong leadership skills, and a proactive, solution‑oriented approach to managing complex enterprise‑level programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and document project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional project teams including SAP consultants, developers, business analysts, testers, and third‑party vendors.
  • Ensure effective use of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar) to monitor and report on project progress.
  • Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all SAP solutions delivered are aligned with business requirements, compliance standards, and quality expectations.
  • Maintain consistent and transparent communication with senior leadership and stakeholders, providing regular updates on status, risks, and achievements.
  • Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee post‑implementation activities, including system stabilization, user support, and performance optimization.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record of successfully managing SAP projects, including full‑cycle implementations or upgrades (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules and integration points (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, HR, etc.).
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third‑party resources in a matrixed or global delivery environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to navigate complex business challenges.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello, or Smartsheet).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is highly preferred.
