About the Role

The Sales Representative (SaaS/Tech) serves as the first touchpoint for prospective customers, playing a critical role in creating new opportunities and building pipeline. This role combines persistence, confidence, and consultative sales techniques to drive outbound prospecting and qualify potential customers.

The ideal candidate is energetic, enjoys the challenge of cold calling, and thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Experience in SaaS or technology sales is strongly preferred, as you’ll be engaging prospects who require both technical understanding and strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Proactively engage potential customers through cold calls, outbound emails, and other prospecting methods.

  • Qualify leads using the BANT framework (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) to assess readiness and fit.

Sales Enablement

  • Clearly articulate the company’s offerings, address objections, and educate prospects on how solutions meet their needs.

  • Book qualified meetings, demos, or consultations for Account Executives.

CRM & Data Integrity

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the company’s CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Ensure data consistency to support team-wide visibility and operational efficiency.

Performance & Collaboration

  • Consistently meet or exceed KPIs related to calls, meetings booked, and pipeline generated.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales Managers and Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs.

  • Share recurring customer insights, objections, and product feedback to improve messaging and processes.

Process Optimization

  • Employ best practices in outbound sales and leverage technology to streamline prospecting.

  • Stay informed about product updates, market trends, and customer needs to remain effective and relevant.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, customer service, or a call center environment.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed performance targets in a fast-paced, outbound/cold-calling setting.

  • SaaS/Tech industry experience strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with a natural ability to connect and build trust quickly.

  • Proficiency in using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and call management tools.

  • Strong time management, multitasking, and self-organization skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote team environment.

  • Availability to work standard business hours across U.S. time zones (EST–PST).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a high-volume outbound/cold-calling role.

  • Familiarity with lead scoring models, sales automation platforms, or pipeline management software.

  • Prior success in SaaS/Tech sales environments with a proven ability to turn cold leads into qualified opportunities.
