Our client is a worldwide leader in the premium eye-wear sector for sunglasses, optical frames and sports eye-wear. They create unique, high-quality eye-wear designs that help people express their personality and style to the full.

We are recruiting for their South African subsidiary based in Johannesburg a qualified professional with a luxury, FMCG, pharmaceutical or any relevant sales background for the position of Sales Representative Gauteng (Pretoria and Limpopo). We are looking for a sales professional with high commercial drive that ensures that products are present in the right store, at the right time and in the right quantities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visiting assigned cluster of stores ensuring a capillary coverage of the territory
  • Guaranteeing an effective visit plan in order to achieve KPI’s in terms of frequency of visits per store cluster
  • Supporting the launch of each collection release and ensuring the achievement of sales objectives
  • Ensuring the adequate level of assortment and stock in the points of sales of the assigned territory
  • Optimizing and monitoring product distribution in compliance with selective distribution guidelines
  • Verifying assortment depth & width and analyze best and worst sellers (i.e. the best selling price points, colours or styles)
  • Protecting and capturing prime spaces in stores and, in general, managing all space opportunities and produce layout plans for stores
  • Allocating POS and promotional material (in-store and window) and verify its quality and correct positioning & functioning over time
  • Building constructive relationships with Store Managers and Associates and act as the Brands’ point of reference for client’s feedback and needs
  • Analyzing and reporting structured information on competitors’ activities
Requirements
  • Experience as Sales Representative with a successful track record in sales

  • Dynamic, strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Preferably experience in the eye-wear industry or any other related industry
  • Bilingual in both English (mandatory) and Afrikaans (if possible)
  • Bachelor degree within Business or Marketing will be beneficial
