A luxury homeware company in Durban is looking for a Sales Representative to enhance product sales by managing inventory, ensuring showroom operations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of retail sales experience, preferably in luxury, and must demonstrate strong communication skills. Qualifications

DBN000204 – Sales Representative (Decor & Homeware) - Durban

Main purpose of the job: To increase the client product sales by managing inventory well, upholding merchandising standards, and managing the showroom's efficient operations. Reach and surpass sales targets, offer top-notch customer service, and market and sell retail goods to consumers.

Minimum requirements
  • National senior certificate
  • At least 3 years sales experience in a similar role, within a retail environment (preferably for a luxury brand) with experience working on point of sale.
  • Previous experience in a senior role, coordinating a team (advantageous for the senior role)
  • Knowledge of homeware advantageous.
  • Experience in conducting and managing regular stock takes.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Customer service focused and orientated.
  • Highly sales driven and focused on achieving the end result.
  • Must be professional and well presented.
  • Self‑motivated General business acumen
  • Please note that this position is of a physical nature due to the handling of heavy rugs
  • Exposure to an interior design environment is an advantage.
Main duties & Responsibilities
  • Building long standing and productive relationships with customers
  • Sales – selling our luxury homeware products and reaching/exceeding sales targets
  • Maintaining retail showroom standards and operations
  • Deliver customer satisfaction
  • Managing orders of retail products for the showroom
