Mission of the role:

Weco is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to grow sales of rock drills, spares, and repair services. This role focuses on winning new business and managing existing accounts in the mining and industrial sectors, combining technical expertise with strong sales and relationship skills. By delivering value and reliability, you’ll help Weco achieve its strategic goal of doubling sales turnover within three years.

Your mission:
  • Sales Growth: Drive new business and manage accounts in mining and industrial sectors, executing Weco’s go‑to‑market strategy and meeting sales targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong client relationships through site visits, technical support, and promotion of spares, equipment, and services.
  • Product & Service Promotion: Present Weco’s full portfolio of drills, repairs, kits, and optimisation services, demonstrating features and methodologies.
  • Commercial Management: Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts, monitor pricing strategies, and support finance in payment collection.
  • Market Intelligence: Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies while representing Weco at trade shows and events.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and provide management with insights on customer needs and market opportunities.
Your profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ Years of B2B industrial sales experience.
  • Sales to Africa Mining Industry experience.
  • Understanding of mining and construction equipment (high level).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, Advanced Excel and Email.
  • Driver's Licence
