Are you a top-tier Sales Professional in the IVD industry ready to own and drive a high-value territory in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN)?

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Sales Specialist to join our team, focusing on achieving ambitious sales targets for a crucial portfolio of instrumentation and reagents within the KZN region. This role is about securing new business revenue, fostering deep customer relationships.
  2. Please note this is a fixed - term contract for a duration of 2 years.
What You Will Be Doing (Key Missions):
  1. Territory Ownership & Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by relentlessly driving new business and optimizing existing relationships across the KZN clinical/diagnostics industry.
  2. Relationship Architect: Build, nurture, and maintain strategic relationships with customers, Key Accounts, and KOLs to maximize sales opportunities.
  3. Process Excellence: Execute the full sales cycle from preparing proposals and negotiating tenders to ensuring all activities comply with ethical standards and company policies.
  4. Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a central liaison, ensuring seamless cooperation with Application Specialists and Product Managers to deliver the best solutions.
  5. Strategic Reporting & Market Intel: Provide accurate sales forecasts, actively monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs, and update your CRM tool daily.
What You Need to Bring (Non-Negotiable Requirements):
Experience

A minimum of 5 years of sales experience is required.

Industry Knowledge

Experience selling capital equipment or experience working in a laboratory environment is required (ideally both).

Territory Expertise

Knowledge of the KZN clinical/diagnostics industry sales landscape is mandatory.

Education

A BS/BA degree in a science or business-related field is required. Degrees in biology, bacteriology, premedical studies, or medical fields are preferred.
