Job description

The Sales Manger will be responsible for driving new business, managing key accounts, managing sales representatives, expanding the company's footprint within the industrial automation, robotics and mechatronics sectors.

This role requires strong technical understanding, strategic sales ability and the confidence to engage with engineers, technical managers and large industrial clients.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow revenue.
  • Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage and motivate the sales team.
  • Manage and grow relationships with key accounts and OEM's.
  • Conduct client meetings, site visits and product presentations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to understand solutions and offer the correct technical advice.
Requirements:
  • 5 + years experience in industrial automation/ robotics / mechatronics solutions and industrial equipment.
  • Relevant qualifications, strong in sales management.
  • Strong technical understanding (PLC systems, robotics, mechatronics solutions and industrial equipment)
  • Existing network with manufacturing, mining, FMCG, automotive or engineering industries beneficial.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and understand automation concepts.
  • Proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
