Our client is searching for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Telesales to join their team in Pretoria.
The mission
- Follow up and close existing quotes, work cold-call lists to book new business, and canvas new prospects when lists run dry. Keep a clean pipeline the team can rely on.
What you’ll do
- Call every new quote within parameters, confirm spec/timing/decision process, and drive to PO.
- Run structured follow-ups (phone/email/WhatsApp) on all pending quotes every 48–72 hours until win/loss.
- Handle objections (price, lead time, MOQ, artwork) and negotiate within guardrails.
- Arrange for meeting with field rep if unable to close over phone/email.
- Work provided cold-call lists; Qualify lead, book discovery calls and quoting opportunities.
- Canvas/Prospect when lists thin: Research targets, revive lapsed customers, ask for referrals.
- Keep CRM (Zoho Bigin/CRM) spotless: Next step + date on every opportunity; close reasons mandatory.
- Coordinate with Estimating/Production on feasibility, plates, lead times, and delivery slots.
- Adhere to POPIA and maintain do-not-contact hygiene.

- Follow-up SLA: 100% of new quotes contacted in 24h; all pending quotes touched every 48–72h
- New pipeline created (meetings/quote requests)
- CRM hygiene (? 95% with next step + close reason)
What you bring
- Min 2 years in inside sales/telesales with closing responsibility (B2B).
- Perfectly Bi-lingual Afrikaans and English.
- Confident phone presence; concise written comms; resilient and coachable.
- Bonus: printing/packaging exposure (plates, substrates, MOQs, lead times) and/or LinkedIn list- building.
