Job Description

The Sales / Business Development Executive (BDM) will be responsible for identifying developing and managing new broker and partner relationships across Construction Surety and Financial Lines. The successful candidate will drive business growth through proactive lead generation, relationship management, and deal closure. This is a target‑driven client‑facing position requiring both strategic thinking and hands‑on sales execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities within the UK and international markets.
  • Identify and engage new brokers, intermediaries and strategic partners across relevant industries.
  • Build and maintain strong long‑term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and account management teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Accquiss product offerings and market positioning.
  • Deliver regular performance and pipeline reports to management.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and activity targets as set by the business.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in B2B sales, business development or client relationship management, preferably within financial services, insurance or construction sectors.
  • Strong understanding of surety bonding or financial lines is advantageous.
  • Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated, results‑oriented and commercially astute.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
