Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations: Oversee the daily opening and closing of the restaurant.
  • Lead day-to-day front-of-house operations ensuring optimal service and efficiency.
  • Supervise and support waitstaff, bar operators, and cleaners.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and address any complaints effectively.
  • Manage drink and restaurant consumables stock, including weekly purchasing and stock takes.
  • Oversee restaurant bookings, table allocation, and staff shift rosters.
  • Maintain high-level oversight of outsourced kitchen operations.
  • Submit shift sheets and reports to finance for payroll.
  • Event Management: Conduct venue tours for potential clients.
  • Manage event inquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
  • Draft and send professional quotes for events.
  • Maintain and update the events booking calendar.
  • Oversee smooth execution of events on-site and liaise with clients.
  • Proven experience in restaurant management (event venue experience advantageous).
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Professional, friendly, well-presented and able to engage with high-end clientele.
  • Fluent in English & Afrikaans.
  • Confident working with computers, email and quotations.
  • Own reliable vehicle essential.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented, and service-driven personality.
Working Hours
  • Closed on Mondays.
  • Tuesday to Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (approx.).
  • Friday to Sunday: 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM (approx.).
  • Extended hours are required during events.
  • 1 weekend off + 2 weekdays off per month in addition to Mondays.
