Repair Technician

Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

Ke Ares of Responsibility

• Perform rework tasks including diagnosing, fault finding and repairing.
• Test, update and perform low-level repairs. Replacement and rework of Through Hole, Surface Mount technologies.
• Use basic test equipment such as DMM, Huntron Tracker, Oscilloscope to verify failures and repairs.
• Meet or exceed personal production targets in line with work assignment while maintaining high repair quality standards
• Prioritize activities based on production schedule or as directed by manager
• Accurately maintain and report all required production data
• Conform to department maintenance and safety regulations to ensure a clean and healthy environment according to company policies, procedure and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• 0 - 3 year experience in technical repairs in an IT environment
• Component level repairs and Basic troubleshooting
• Computer operation (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Electronic and Electromechanical skills
• Basic problem solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to read circuit diagramsCommunication skills
• Attention to detail
