We're hiring a Meta Ads Creative Strategist & Media Buyer to own the entire paid growth process across Facebook and Instagram, from strategy to execution to creative direction.
You'll plan, launch, and optimize full-funnel Meta campaigns, analyse performance data, and collaborate with our in-house designer to produce high-performing creatives that convert.

What You'll Do
- Develop and manage Meta Ads strategies for ecommerce / DTC brands (FB / IG)
- Set up, launch, and optimize campaigns — targeting, bidding, creative testing, and scaling
- Conduct deep audits of ad accounts and customer journeys to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead creative strategy by developing new hooks, angles, and messaging frameworks that convert
- Write and test ad copy, headlines, and creative concepts grounded in performance data
- Collaborate with a dedicated designer to develop ad assets (UGC, static, carousel, video, etc.)
- Analyse key metrics (CTR, CVR, ROAS, MER, CPA, LTV, NCAC) and recommend optimizations
- Run creative testing frameworks, iterate based on learnings and identify new winning concepts
- Maintain pixel tracking and event accuracy through platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce
- Stay ahead of Meta algorithm updates, attribution changes, and ad policy trends
- Deliver clear reports summarising performance insights and next steps for clients and ad accounts.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years hands‑on experience running Meta Ads for ecommerce / DTC brands
- Proven ability to scale campaigns profitably through structured testing and creative iteration
- Deep understanding of ad structures, learning phase management, and retargeting funnels
- Strong grasp of creative analysis, how messaging, visuals, and audience impact performance
- Skilled in writing high-converting ad copy and developing creative briefs for design execution even with the assistance of AI to produce creatives, through detailed and solid prompting.
- Familiarity with Shopify and ecommerce integrations (pixels, feeds, and tracking setup)
- Analytical, organized, and confident turning data into actionable decisions
- Confidence in scaling ad accounts and driving growth beyond client expectations
- Experience with Triple Whale, GA4, CAPI, or UTM-based reporting

Project Scope
- Full ownership of Meta campaigns, strategy, setup, execution, and optimization
- Ongoing collaboration with internal design resources
- Long‑term partnership role (not a one‑off project)
- Weekly or bi‑weekly performance check‑ins and strategy sessions
- Ownership of client communication through slack and weekly meetings for reporting, feedback and ad strategy.
Working Days and Hours
Monday to Friday: 11:00 to 19:00 South Africa Standard Time.
Compensation
Monthly base of R + Performance targets (Average low 5 figures per month at scale)
