Key Responsibilities : Cost Management & Estimating
  • Assist with preparing cost estimates and BOQs for mineral processing projects.
  • Gather, analyse, and verify cost data from suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support cost forecasting and cash-flow planning.
Contracts & Procurement Support
  • Assist with preparing tender documents, RFQs, and contract documentation.
  • Evaluate supplier and contractor quotations for accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Technical Qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with cost-management or QS software is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of construction drawings and basic engineering principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Advantageous
  • Experience or exposure to mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of NEC, FIDIC, or similar contract frameworks.
  • Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to site when required.
