Role Overview
The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for monitoring, testing, approving, and evaluating materials and products at various stages of the manufacturing lifecycle. Working closely with production, laboratory, and quality teams, the role ensures that quality systems, procedures, and standards are consistently applied and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities
- Approve or reject starting materials, packaging materials, bulk, and finished products
- Ensure that appropriate testing is carried out and that records are evaluated
- Ensure that appropriate process and cleaning validations are done
- Ensure that the required initial and continuing training of the department personnel is carried out and adapted according to needs
- Inspection and investigation to monitor factors that may affect product quality
- Monitoring of storage conditions for materials and products
- Ensure equipment, premises or production areas, operators and starting materials are clean and in good order before commencement of processes
- Ensure that appropriate PPE is correctly used.
- Ensure status cards are filled in correctly and timeously
- Maintaining effective communication with all working relationships
- Identifying, investigating, and reporting quality issues
- Aid as necessary, the life cycle of QMS documentation, such as Deviations, Change Controls, Risk Assessments, Procedures and training of new/ revised procedures
- Monitoring and contributing to GMP compliance and Quality of manufactured products
- Ensuring the 5S principle is adhered to
- Understanding Companys Health & Safety Policy and follow all company HSE procedures. Report all accidents or any unsafe conditions in the workplace
- Monitoring and evaluating the quality of the product throughout the manufacturing process and evaluating the results of testing

- Detail and quality oriented, dedicated to ensuring products free of defects by meticulously testing and inspecting production processes
- Improve quality procedures to ensure the safety of final products
- Increase production efficiency
Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Proficiency in English, with strong reading and writing skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Self-motivated, quick learner, and goal-oriented
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Sound knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes
- Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Computer literacy in required software applications
Accountability
The Quality Control Officer will be accountable for all quality-related actions in line with the responsibilities outlined above and will work closely with the Quality Manager and Production Heads to ensure consistent quality outcomes.
