Qualified Diesel Mechanic Red Seal

A well established, large Multi Franchise Dealership is looking for an experienced Qualified Diesel Mechanic with a Red Seal for their commercial trucks division.

Appointment:

Permanent, full-time position

Salary:

Negotiable plus commission

Benefits:

Package is negotiable and market related salary with very attractive commission structure, Pension Fund, Medical Aid, Funeral and Life cover, 13th cheque bonus – based on performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• National Senior Certificate
• Qualified Diesel mechanic with Red Seal certificate
• 2 – 3 Years of hands‑on experience as a diesel mechanic with preference given to candidates in senior roles
• Prior experience in a dealership environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in fault finding, diagnosing, repairing and basic auto electric work
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
• Expertise in commercial vehicle engine maintenance, repair and servicing
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and software effectively
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem solving and decision‑making skills
