In this role, you will drive the strategy, development, and launch of customer-focused products and features that improve the Amazon returns and refunds experience. Working closely with engineering, design, operations, and business teams, you'll manage product development of key features in our roadmap, drive critical business metrics, and define requirements for innovative technologies that delight our customers.

We are looking for a dynamic and talented Product Manager to partner with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment.

As a successful candidate, you will have experience managing complex businesses, solving technical challenges, and influencing key partner teams to drive initiatives to completion. You have a strong bias toward data driven decision making and an innate ability to understand how metrics relate to business problems and to each other. You are a product leader who has the ability to communicate priorities and work effectively with stakeholders, including teams across software engineering, logistics, product management, legal, finance, and core retail businesses. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity, can work across a wide cross section of stakeholders, and relish the idea of solving challenging problems. You will tackle novel situations every day and, given the size of this initiative, you’ll have the opportunity to work with Amazon teams around the globe.

Key job responsibilities
  • Own the product roadmap for customer experience products/features
  • Identify customer pain points and opportunities through data analysis and customer research
  • Define product requirements and success metrics
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to build and launch features
  • Analyze product and business performance to drive product, process and policy improvements
  • Present product strategies and results to senior leadership
  • Prioritize features and capabilities based on business impact and customer value
  • Manage product development through the entire lifecycle
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • +4 years direct experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross‑functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
  • Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
