Qualifications

• Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree essential as well as a Commerce Degree or Diploma preferably in Business or Sales Management
• Process Filtration Equipment experience
• Proven record of accomplishment of working in Project Houses (EPCM/EPC) and mining houses
• Hands‑on involvement in process design, optimization and troubleshooting
• Experience with filtration systems, including consumables and capital equipment (e.g. filter presses, horizontal vacuum belt filters, disc filters, etc.)
• Experience in managing key accounts and supporting process improvement projects (local and export)
• Proven record of accomplishment in developing and travelling into the African region, coupled with technical selling
• Experience in developing and closing deals in new or emerging markets
• Experience in dust filtration and dust extraction
• Wet filtration desirable
• Technical knowledge and experience in the filtration industry, mining and heavy industry
• Computer literate – Outlook, online meetings, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pastel manufacturing
• English and French language proficiency required
• Good financial understanding, costing and calculations
• Ability to draw and interpret technical drawings
• Local and travel to African Regions
