Responsibilities:

1. End-to-end data acquisition and data management (Event/Streaming based data pipelines, ETL, Data Lake, Data warehousing, and dimensional data modeling).
2. Import data into the corporate data lake/data warehouse.
3. Querying: Managing SSIS packages and maintenance.
4. Transformations: Creating and managing SQL stored procedures.
5. Troubleshooting: Investigating and resolving SQL bugs.
6. Data Design: Designing and building SQL datasets for reporting.
7. Data Handling: Loading and verifying SQL monthly source data.
8. Data Analysis: Manipulating and analyzing data.
9. Reporting: Running month-end packs in Tableau.
10. Daily Reporting: Managing daily SQL data and Tableau reports.
11. Report Development: Developing and automating new BI reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

• IT-related Degree/Diploma/Microsoft Certification/Cloud Certification.
• Minimum 5 years experience in BI (SSIS, SSRS).
• Minimum 5 years experience in Data Warehousing (Kimball Methodology) (SSIS).
• Insurance industry knowledge required.
• Database technologies: SQL Server or later (Database, table, view, and stored procedure creation, SQL query, SQL Security).
• Experience using Tableau.
• Exposure to any cloud technologies.
• Hadoop components including HDFS, Hive, Spark, Oozie, and Impala.
• Streaming-based data pipelines (e.g., Kafka or Nifi).
• Object-oriented/object functional scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala, or related.
• SQL Architectural experience preferable.
• Working knowledge of C# / VB.Net / VBA advantageous.

The reference number for this position is NG. It is a permanent hybrid role offering a salary of Rk up to Rk per annum, negotiable based on experience.
