Overview

Sectional Title and Home Owners Association (HOA) Portfolio Manager based in Cape Town. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of sectional title schemes and homeowners associations within the region. Your role will involve ensuring the efficient and effective management of properties, financial affairs, and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of sectional title schemes and homeowners associations in Cape Town.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive management plans for each property in the portfolio.
  • Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and improvements to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets for each property, including financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Coordinate and attend board meetings, AGMs, and other relevant meetings with property owners.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for property owners, tenants, and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, by-laws, and regulations governing sectional title and HOA management.
  • Address and resolve any disputes or conflicts that may arise within the properties.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to property management and financial performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting property management.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in property management, particularly with sectional title schemes and homeowners associations.
  • Strong knowledge of South African sectional title, HOA, and property management regulations.
