Key Responsibilities

• Material Planning: Analyse production schedules and inventory levels to determine material requirements.
• Forecast demand and manage inventory to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Production Coordination: Collaborate with production teams to develop and adjust schedules based on capacity and customer demands.
• Ensure that all production activities are aligned with company goals and customer requirements.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues in the production process, minimizing downtime and delays.
• Implement corrective actions and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Communication: Serve as a liaison between different departments, including production, procurement, drawing office and sales, to facilitate smooth operations.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding production status, inventory levels, and any potential issues.
• Data Analysis: Utilize planning software and tools to analyze production data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management to assist in strategic planning.
