Now, you’re looking for a role where you can apply your project management skills to ensure high-impact programs are delivered seamlessly and sustainably.

At GVI, we’re looking for an organised, people-focused project manager like you to take the lead on our Groups and U18s programs. You’ll be the person who connects our central strategy with field delivery, ensuring our teams have exactly what they need to succeed on the ground.

✨ WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

As our Operations Project Manager, you are the link between a vision for impact and its successful execution. By managing the end-to-end setup of our group programs, you ensure that every participant has a safe, meaningful experience that contributes directly to our conservation and community goals.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Overseeing end-to-end project management for Groups and U18s programs, ensuring quality and cost targets are met.
  • Managing all operational logistics for multiple groups simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicating daily with field staff, partners, and suppliers to ensure program delivery.
  • Developing and updating location playbooks to ensure delivery processes are consistent across all itineraries.
  • Completing health and safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency action plans for all locations.
  • Developing and managing budgets, keeping financial forecasts up to date, and optimising cost structures.
  • Collaborating with Business Development, Sales, and Impact teams to ensure accurate reporting and program alignment.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
  • Proven Project Management: You have a solid track record of managing projects, operations, and logistics.
  • Field Experience: You understand the realities of working in the field and can translate that knowledge into effective planning.
  • Relationship Building: You are a "people person" who finds it easy to build trust and collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Flexibility: You are comfortable handling ad hoc tasks and can quickly adapt as priorities evolve.
  • Financial Oversight: You are experienced in managing budgets and looking for ways to optimise costs without losing quality.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
  • Monthly Salary: R20 000 – R28 000 ZAR (depending on experience)
  • Generous leave policy
  • Opportunities for growth within a global organisation
  • Regular connection with our leadership team and CEO
