About the Opportunity

Lead with Impact: Operations Manager position available seeking individuals that are well-versed in project management in the electrical / construction sector!

Is this you

You are a seasoned operations professional with a knack for leadership, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills. You are up to date with industry regulations and current trends in the electrical contracting sector. You have experience in operational and project planning, pricing tenders, ensuring SHEQ and ISO compliance, proficiency with MS Project, familiarity with electrical materials, construction and best practices, as well as knowledge of SANS 10142 standards.

Responsibilities
  • As the Operations Manager you’ll spearhead technical operations ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget. You will be responsible for efficient project planning and execution.
  • You will be leading and managing a team, coordinate project execution, evaluate new technologies and conduct quality control checks.
  • With your strong leadership and technical expertise you’ll guide project teams, provide technical support and resolve complex issues all while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • You will build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors and other stakeholders as well as monitoring project budgets and financial performance.
Where you’ll be doing it

You will be required to visit sites frequently within the Western Cape.

What you’ll need
  • To excel in this role you’ll need a BTech / BEng / ND in Electrical Engineering coupled with at least 10 years of proven experience in operations and project management within the electrical or construction industry.
  • Your expertise in operational and project planning, pricing tenders, SHEQ compliance and contract management will be essential.
  • Additionally your strong leadership, communication and organizational skills coupled with your proficiency in MS Project and other relevant software will set you apart.
