Job summary

A well-known service provider in Durban is seeking a candidate responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and monitoring stock levels for uninterrupted service. The role requires excellent knowledge of office tools, organizational skills, and experience in finance and administration. The ideal candidate should have a Grade 12 certificate and 3 years of relevant experience. This position involves assisting with daily operational tasks, managing stock orders, and follows up with suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation
  • Ensure timekeeping is up to date for month-end processing
  • Monitor stock levels and consumables for uninterrupted service
  • Place monthly, weekly, and daily orders on D365 or manually for stock required
  • Follow up on all orders placed with suppliers and report back to management
  • Assist the Operations Manager with daily operational tasks and reporting

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation

  • Monitor stock levels and consumables for uninterrupted service
  • Place monthly, weekly, and daily orders on D365 or manually for stock required at the office, based on information from the Warehouse Administrator
  • Follow up on all orders placed with suppliers and report back to management on short stock and/or back orders
  • Assist the Operations Manager with daily operational tasks and reporting

  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of MS Office/Excel and databases.
  • Attention to detail with an ability to spot grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Qualifications
