Description

A well-established company is looking for an experienced Operational Finance Manager with strong accounting expertise and the ability to lead financial operations, improve reporting accuracy and support strategic decision‑making. The ideal candidate will oversee core finance functions, guide budgeting and forecasting and ensure compliance across all financial processes.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations including cash book management, payroll review, GP analysis and preparation of budgets, forecasts and monthly flash results.
  • Prepare and present monthly management reports and financial statements ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop financial strategies, monitor cash flow and budgets and drive cost‑saving initiatives to enhance financial performance.
  • Manage compliance with internal controls and financial regulations while supervising and mentoring the finance team.
  • Handle annual rate reviews, implementation, approve credit notes and provide business support on financial matters.
  • Oversee Debtors and Creditors functions including AR/AP supervision, debtors age analysis, invoice submissions, allocations management, credit limit approvals and intercompany creditors.
  • Review payments and reconciliations for all third‑party creditors.
Requirements
  • BCom Honours with completed articles.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in financial management.
  • Strong financial reporting, analysis and strategic decision‑making skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
