New Business Development Specialist (Domestic Clients in the BPO Space)
We are looking for a salesperson or business development individual who is proactive, energetic and creative with outstanding selling and networking skills, must be someone from the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry.
He / she will be responsible for generating new business throughout South Africa by cold calling, prospecting and networking.
The incumbent will be required coordinate with company executives to review current market trends to propose new business ideas that can improve revenue margins.
Responsibilities
- Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
- Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
- Conduct research to identify new markets, viable income streams and customer needs.
- Become familiar with economic activities within the BPO environment.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
- Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
- Develop new leads and opportunities through prospecting.
- Develop a long-term sales pipeline to increase the company's market share.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition.
- Promote the company's products / services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
- Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
- Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Enhances organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
- Meets and exceeds Business Development targets set by executives.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 5 years new business development experience in Business Process Outsourcing BPO Sector
- Domestic clients experience in the contact centre space or industry
- Proven track record
