Medical Receptionist, Specialist Physician, Pretoria

A specialist Physician practice based in Pretoria is seeking to recruit a medical receptionist to handle the day to day duties of the practice with the team.

Requirements
  • Diary and appointment management
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Cash and credit card payment and receipting
  • Medical aid / billing administration: Addressing medical aid queries, checking available funds, authorisations, submitting billing claims
  • Stock control and ordering of stock
  • Creating patient files
  • Ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the practice
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
  • General administration
  • Maintain efficient patient serviceMaintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff and patient information
  • May be required to assist with basic vitals, measurements and performing ECGs in the rooms
Qualification
  • Matric
  • Medical reception experience is essential
  • Medical software knowledge is essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Bilingual – proficiency in English and Afrikaans
  • Medical billing will be an advantage
  • Apple software knowledge is essential
  • Experience with Apple software
