We are looking for a strong, highlyorganised Marketing Coordinator to manage and execute marketing activities for an established and growing Accounting firm as well as for their non-profit foundation. The role requires a balance ofstructure and creativity — ensuring that both brands maintain a consistent,professional presence while driving engagement and impact. You will workclosely with leadership and external agencies to plan, coordinate, and deliverhigh-quality marketing outputs — from editorial content and campaigns to eventsand social media. Travelling to various advertising / marketing agencies to co-ordinate activities will be required from time to time and travel will be reimbursed accordingly.
This position will be a permanent full-time role, in-office based in Germiston (Monday - Fridays)
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Coordination & Planning
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing and editorial calendar across both the Company and their Foundation.
- Coordinate and track campaign timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
- Ensure alignment of marketing activities with strategic objectives, brand guidelines, and seasonal priorities.
Content & Campaign Management
- Work with agency partners and internal contributors to prepare and publish content across digital platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, website, newsletters).
- Oversee the creation, review, and scheduling of posts, ensuring consistent tone and quality.
- Draft captions, assist with copywriting, and prepare visuals for approval.
- Track campaign performance and prepare summary reports on engagement and reach.
Social Media & Brand Presence
- Manage all social media channels and ensure regular, engaging, and aligned activity.
- Maintain posting schedules and monitor comments, tags, and direct messages.
- Support the development of thought-leadership and storytelling content for both brands.
- Act as the main point of contact for the external marketing and design agency.
- Brief designers on marketing materials, event collateral, and digital assets.
- Review and approve creative output before publishing or printing.
Events & Campaign Activation
- Coordinate events, workshops, and community activations for both entities.
- Manage logistics, supplier liaison, guest lists, and event communication.
- Support promotional activities, photography, and post-event content.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain marketing budgets and assist with tracking spend.
- Prepare monthly reports on marketing performance, campaigns, and engagement.
- Support ad-hoc internal communication initiatives and marketing projects.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a marketing coordination or similar role.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Proven experience managing social media and coordinating with agencies or creatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva/Adobe Suite, and social media scheduling tools.
- CRM or digital marketing platform knowledge (HubSpot / Dynamics / Mailchimp) beneficial.
