A leading consulting firm in Johannesburg seeks a candidate for operational and administrative management of restructuring engagements. Responsibilities include managing teams, analysing financial data, and developing business strategies tailored to clients. You would be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operational and administrative management of both restructuring and insolvency engagements.

Partnering with boards, management teams and financiers facing situations of financial distress, we quickly identify root causes, formulate turnaround strategies and implement value-maximising restructures.
We advise companies across all industry sectors and business sizes. Work closely with our clients to develop and execute restructuring and insolvency strategies tailored to their unique needs. Lead and manage an engagement team, overseeing multiple workstreams to ensure efficiency and quality delivery. Analyse financial data meticulously, assessing various options, and crafting well-founded recommendations for clients. Actively participate in business development efforts and promotional activities to expand the firm's reach. Foster a collaborative environment within the team, fostering creativity and innovation to address client challenges effectively. Contribute to the continuous learning and development of yourself and your team members through coaching and mentoring. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging practices, adapting strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
Proficient in written and verbal communication, facilitating interaction across all levels of client organisations and within our team. Possess structured problem‑solving skills, demonstrating a logical, disciplined approach to deconstructing problems into their core issues. Strong organisation and project management abilities.
