Job Description
The role includes:
- Sales and service to Tier 3 and other smaller clients in the Mid Market segment within the Coastal & Central Southern Africa Region.
- Supporting the Coastal and Central Southern Africa Heads of Cluster to develop and maintain relationships between Visa and its partners/members.
- Contributing to the development, production, and implementation of initiatives outlined in country plans.
- Building and updating a comprehensive Business Intelligence tool monthly, gathering macroeconomic data, Visa's issuing and acquiring activities, market competition, and client data.
- Handling client queries and issues, providing timely solutions.
- Ensuring client compliance with service levels, maintaining service records, and resolving complaints efficiently.
- Identifying key market opportunities, providing analysis, and developing business cases.
- Serving as the central communication point for all clients in the market.
- This is a hybrid position. The expected days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
- Liaising with relevant Visa departments to align on member priorities and ensure business outcomes.
- Coordinating with other Visa departments to implement country plans successfully.
- Working closely with other Visa functional teams and understanding Visa solutions.
- Completing ad hoc projects, research, presentations, and other initiatives as requested by management.
- Supporting business development managers with administrative tasks related to licensing, accounts receivable, etc.
- Following up on execution plans to ensure efficient Time To Market.
- Managing internal sales MIS reporting processes, including MS Dynamics, bi-weekly pipeline reports, and ad-hoc client performance reports.
Note: This is a hybrid role. Employees are expected to work from the office 2-3 days a week, with the exact days determined by leadership and business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.
- Bilingual in English and French.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience.
- Experience in sales, finance, or relationship management.
- Willingness to learn and execute effective sales strategies for new payment solutions and services.
- Experience with card issuing/acquiring is beneficial; exposure to financial institutions or MNOs is a plus.
- Availability to travel.
- Experience in sales, retail, or business development roles.
