Emeris Durban North has a vacancy for a part‑time lecturer for the following module:
Management Accounting 2

Key Performance Areas

• Preparation, conducting of lectures, tutorials and workshops
• Providing study guidance, learning support, consultation and mentoring of students
• Initiation and development of module materials, including online and web‑based materials
• Marking and grading of student assessments
• A range of administrative functions connected to the discipline and modules being taught

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Ideal:

• Chartered Accountant
• Chartered Global Management Accounting
• Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA)
• Honours/post‑graduate qualification in Management Accounting and Finance

Alternatively:

• NQF level 9 qualification in Management Accounting and Finance

Minimum Work Experience Requirements

• Lecturing experience in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing or Taxation preferable
• Completed training contract at a registered firm of Chartered Accountants
• Relevant work experience in a corporate environment

Working Conditions

• Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role
• Positions are part‑time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00
• Must reside in Durban (All classes take place on Campus)
• Applicants must be available to lecture for 2–3 days (business hours) within a week for the duration of the semester
