Job summary

A leading hospitality management company is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a large resort in oThongathi, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of technical, mechanical, and grounds maintenance and implement preventive maintenance programs. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, sound mechanical knowledge and the ability to supervise staff effectively. Accommodation is provided, and candidates must be prepared to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position in a large operation within the Hospitality Industry.
• Sound knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, building, carpentry, aircon, heat pumps, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of technical, mechanical, and grounds maintenance.
• Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
• Manage departmental expenditure, budgets, stock, and tools.
• Supervise staff and liaise with service providers.
