Job summary

Qualifications

• Physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines are not left unattended.
• Keep workstation clean.
• Operate machine according to supervisor's instruction.
• Trim and pack products as per inspection instructions.
• Report machine or product issues immediately.
• Provide hand over during shift changes.

Job description

• 1. MACHINES SHOULD NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED.
• 2. OPERATORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE THE WORKSTATION IS CLEAN.
• 3. KNOWLEDGE OF INJECTION MOULDING MACHINES
• 4. OPERATOR TO PLACE REJECTS ASIDE IN REJECT BIN.
• 5. OPERATORS ARE TO OPERATE MACHINE ACCORDING TO SUPERVISORS INSTRUCTION.
• 6. OPERATORS ARE TO PROPERLY TRIM AND PACK THE PRODUCTS AS PRODUCT INSPECTION INSTRUCTION AND “FIRST OFF SAMPLE”.
• 7. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE MACHINE OR THE PRODUCT – OPERATORS ARE TO BRING IT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE SETTER OR SUPERVISOR IMMEDIATELY.
• 8. OPERATORS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING HAND OVER DURING SHIFT CHANGES TO THE NEXT OPERATOR.
• 9. ENSURING QUALITY IS ACHIEVED
• 10. ENSURE TASKS ARE COMPLETED FOR THE DAY
