Responsibilities

• Manage technical customer interactions during in-life operations.
• Apply Cloud Solutions expertise in AWS.
• Utilise knowledge of Telecom/Wireless OSS/BSS Architecture for design, delivery, and operations.
• Apply knowledge of Fulfilment/Assurance, Billing, and MNP business processes.
• Implement DevOps culture by designing and delivering operations-friendly solutions with good observability and monitorability, and supporting operations as they evolve into production.
• Oversee in-life application operations with a focus on automation for self-healing and self-monitoring.
• Lead and motivate the operations team, manage the resolution of incidents and defects, and maintain dashboards for various DevOps KPIs.
• Act as a technical lead during production incidents, applying excellent analytical problem-solving skills to diagnose complex problems.
• Prioritise effectively across multiple assignments, using good judgement and seeking guidance when necessary.
• Be available for domestic and international travel for extended onsite assignments as required.
• Be available for non-standard work hours and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in a DevOps environment is required.
• Proficient in infrastructure and application monitoring tools, including AWS, C#, .Net, Kibana, Postman, Excel, Confluence, and ticket management systems (Jira/Remedy, SNOW, ITIL).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, with the ability to adapt the style for different audiences (e.g., technical vs. management) to influence and gain cooperation.
