Qualifications

• At least 8 years of work experience as a Formulating Chemist in water-based paints or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead product development and optimization projects.
• Provide support for ad hoc technical requests from operations, sales, and external customers.
• Optimize existing products for performance and cost.
• Develop new products.
• Evaluate alternative raw materials.
• Evaluate competitor products.
• Offer technical assistance to factory teams, procurement, marketing, and sales.
• Investigate product complaints.
• Prepare documentation for products including data sheets, FAQs, product presentations.
• Write lab reports.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulations.
