As a Lab Assistant in Histology, you are responsible for supporting the smooth flow of specimens through the laboratory, ensuring that each step in the process is handled with care and precision. Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have successfully completed Grade 12. You must also be registered with the HPCSA as a Lab Assistant in Histology. 0 - 5 years of experience as a Lab Assistant in a laboratory setting is required.

Skills Requirements

Strong communication skills are essential. You are able to read, write and speak fluently in English. You are comfortable with basic numerical reasoning, able to perform everyday calculations with confidence.

Role Impact

In this role, your contribution is both practical and purposeful. You are responsible for receiving gynae specimens, preparing cytology samples, and performing general laboratory tasks that keep operations running smoothly.
