Job Function

Job Function: To manage the processes and resources that improve, grow and retain key clients / customers through the successful implementation and management of client / customer contracts, contributing to operational effectiveness, client / customer satisfaction, reduced risk, profitability and compliance to relevant policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities
Customer Relationship Management
  • Manage customer relationships and expectations effectively and pro-actively across all levels of the customer’s business units, in line with:
  • Manage the agreed commercial contract
  • Total ICF service offering.
  • SLA/SOP and customer KPIs are in place and presented quarterly.
  • Update MDS system on a monthly basis.
Lead Generation
  • Identify new opportunities within the customer’s organization to expand service offering.
  • Identify new business within target segments within the existing client portfolio as identified by the business.
Data Analysis
  • Analyze and report the customer’s business on the company approved systems on a monthly basis to understand emerging trends within their business and industry.
  • Ensuring timeous communication to the business, informing of any potential changes within the customer’s business, industry and potential risk to ICF.
Sales Calls
  • Quarterly in person client visits and bi-weekly phone calls.
Database Quality
  • Establishing appropriate relationships & communication with the relevant functional area’s both internal and external to enhance customer satisfaction & ensure customer retention.
  • All client records should always be maintained with updated.
Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma Logistics, Supply Chain or Marketing Management.
  • Valid driver’s License and own vehicle.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in International Freight Management.
  • Good understanding of Import/Export procedures and Incoterms.
  • Good client relationship management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Geographical and geopolitical knowledge, ability to interface and communicate with different cultures is essential.
