  • Assist with ordering refreshments and basic practice logistics.
  • Liaise with medical aids, insurers, and service providers.
  • Complete and follow up on forms and administrative documents.
  • Answer and screen calls or messages professionally.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and practice information.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the practice.

A paediatric medical practice in Johannesburg, is seeking to recruit a Junior Personal Assistant to support the doctor and administrative team with day to day operational tasks.

This entry level opportunity is suited to a reliable, organised individual who is eager to learn, enjoys working in a healthcare environment, and is comfortable supporting both clinical administration and reception functions.

Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Assist the doctor with daily administrative and operational tasks
  • Manage appointments, reminders, and scheduling support
  • Run errands including collections and deliveries when required
  • Assist with ordering refreshments and basic practice logistics
  • Liaise with medical aids, insurers, and service providers (training provided)
  • Complete and follow up on forms and administrative documents
  • Answer and screen calls or messages professionally
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and practice information
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the practice
  • Assist reception staff when required
  • Support therapists with reception overflow and duties
  • Help with filing and organisational duties

Working hours: Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08h00 – 17h00
