Job description
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

To support the execution of the product and assortment strategy for the eCOM channel. The role is responsible for a wide range of tasks related to range building, online product launches, analytics, and seasonal trading. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional digital teams at both hub and cluster level and will interact frequently with Digital Marketing, Trade & Allocation, and CTC Teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create weekly online product insight reports (conversion, traffic, sell-through, search trends) and present findings during digital trade meetings.
  • Monitor online product performance, highlighting bestsellers, underperformers, and stock-outs with recommended actions.
  • Review ATP availability, and replenishment needs weekly, suggesting top‑ups, or markdowns in line with commercial strategy.
  • Support in building the eCOM assortments for Inline seasonal ranges, GFO, and clearance product based on digital requirements and commercial opportunities.
  • Support the eCOM team on digital campaign execution including product selection for drops, promotions, weekly offers, and brand moments.
  • Work closely with Brand, Digital Marketing, and CX teams to plan and support online product launches and seasonal storytelling.
  • Conduct seasonal competitor comp shops focused on digital pricing, assortment, and UX (product presentation, navigation).
  • Maintain awareness of global trends and consumer behaviour, providing insights relevant to online merchandising and product strategy.
  • Partner closely with Concept Stores, Digital Marketing, Brand and CTC teams to ensure accurate representation of product online.
  • Manage the local production process, ensuring eCom‑specific product needs are briefed and delivered on time.
  • Coordinate product shoots, including sample readiness, styling direction, and adherence to brand guidelines. Ensure all final imagery meets quality, brand and commercial requirements for online use.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Excellent understanding of range & assortment building: a proven record of building compelling assortments balancing out brand & commercial ambitions
  • Intermediate knowledge of data analysis and interpretation, must understand how to tell a story with data
  • Strong presenting skills
  • Excitement around product and knowledge of the sports industry
  • Ability to use MS Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • 3 – 4+ years of working experience within a Buying Department of a medium‑large size retail/ecommerce organization.
