Summary:
To manage and support the company’s IT infrastructure and systems. This role covers day-to-day IT support, Microsoft 365 administration, vendor coordination, network management, and general systems maintenance.
The IT Coordinator will play a crucial role in keeping the company’s technology reliable, secure, and aligned with operational needs across all departments.

Location: Stikland, Cape Town
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 08:00–16:30 & Friday 08:00–16:00
Salary: Market related and commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:
User & Device Support
- Set up and maintain employee laptops, cellphones, and other hardware.
- Provide first-line and second-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Set up and maintain laptops, cellphones, and other IT equipment for staff.
- Troubleshoot IT issues across all departments (showroom, warehouse, technical, sales, office).
- Assist in onboarding new employees with accounts, devices, and system orientation.
Microsoft Stack Administration
- Manage Microsoft 365 accounts (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Improve Teams usage for collaboration, channels, integrations, and file management.
- Maintain SharePoint structures for document organization and accessibility.
- Administer Azure Active Directory (user roles, groups, and security).
Network & Infrastructure
- Monitor and maintain the company’s network (switches, access points, Wi‑Fi).
- Coordinate fiber and VOIP system setup and support.
- Assist in IT infrastructure expansions (e.g., connecting new warehouses, extending networks, deploying Unifi access points).
- Maintain backup systems, updates, and IT security protocols.
Vendor & Procurement Coordination
- Liaise with IT suppliers and vendors for equipment purchases and software licensing.
- Work with 3rd party providers to resolve escalated technical issues.
- Ensure company devices meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
Documentation & Training
- Develop training manuals, procedures, and user guides for staff.
- Conduct IT training and support internal IT security and productivity initiatives.
- Maintain an updated IT asset register.
Education & Certifications
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or related (preferred).
- Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
Experience
- 2–4 years of proven experience as an IT Technician or IT Support Specialist.
- Hands‑on experience with the Microsoft stack (Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD).
- Strong background in troubleshooting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Familiarity with VOIP systems, vendor coordination, and network setups.
- Experience within food service equipment industry – advantageous
