Responsibilities

• Handle import file from the point of release from customs through to completion and delivery of transport documentation.
• Manage Release of Goods (prioritize urgent shipments) (monitor ETA)
• Plan for State Vet, Port Health, Plant Inspection
• Prepare Cartage and Shipping Line Instruction
• Request Payment
• Effectively and promptly handling queries/problems (sense of urgency)
• Ensure timeous receipt of CTO/CRO/LO by transporter/s
• Update systems with any required data
• Assist channel controller with any queries, refunds or analysis etc.

Experience, Qualification and Skills

• Minimum 2 to 5 years experience
• Matric
• Tertiary qualification
• Proficient in Microsoft 365
