A dynamic project management firm in South Africa is seeking a Project Manager responsible for delivering projects through design to implementation. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing various project stages, negotiating vendor contracts, and leading teams to ensure on-schedule delivery. Candidates should hold a relevant diploma and have 5+ years of project management experience. This role demands strong organisational and relationship-building skills alongside knowledge of industry-specific software.
The Project Manager is responsible for delivering a project through its various stages that will include design, facilitation, estimation, project implementation, client liaison, commissioning and close out. All duties should be performed aligned to ensuring compliance to SFI’s QMS for the area of responsibility.
The Project Manager shall also initiate new business opportunities through the presentation of audit reprints and proposals on existing client sites. This also includes management of issues, risk and project change request to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to the process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.
SFI Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that projects produce the required deliverables to qualify, within the specified constraints of time and costs and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business base.
