HR Manager Position

A company based in Observatory is looking to employ a HR Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Senior Leadership Team in effectively managing organisational talent.
  • Report to and support the Operations Manager and Executive Director with the management of employee relations.
  • Support the Executive Director on a quarterly basis in reporting to the Board Human Resources Committee.
  • Manage the employee life cycle and develop human resource management strategies that can assist in building a strong organisational culture and enabling work environment.
  • Manage staffing processes which include recruitment, induction and exit management processes.
  • Provide support and guidance to the team in drafting and managing consultancy contracts.
  • Ensure realtime alignment of Human Resources, Health & Safety Policies with evolving labour laws, policies and regulations.
  • Promote and ensure internal compliance with the organisation's Human Resources and Health and Safety Policies.
  • Ensure that performance settings and reviews processes are carried out in accordance with organisational policies.
  • Empower and motivate employees by developing and maintaining GDX's internal skills development and health and wellness programme.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Manage payroll related matters.
  • Attend and inform Senior Leadership and Staff Meetings.
  • Aligning and streamlining organizational processes to support and drive organizational efficiency and effective management.
