SUMMARY:

Our client, based in Johannesburg, Gauteng (City Deep), is seeking an experienced and hands‑on HR Manager to lead and manage the Human Resources function across the business.

This role is responsible for implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company objectives, while ensuring full compliance with South African labour legislation.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll oversight and HR administration
  • Management of employee benefits (Aid & Pension)
  • Labour relations: disciplinary hearings, CCMA (conciliation & arbitration)
  • Department of Labour submissions and queries
  • BCEA & Labour Relations Act advisory support to management
  • IOD submissions and reporting
  • Skills Development Plan & Annual Training Report (WR SETA / SDL claims)
  • Employment Equity & BBBEE compliance
  • Recruitment support, interviews, and employee inductions
  • Health & Safety, POPIA, and HR compliance
  • Fleet administration (Stanfleet & fuel audits)
  • Manage and lead a team of 4 HR staff
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • BCom Degree in Human Resource Management
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar HR Manager role
  • Strong labour relations and compliance experience
  • Own reliable vehicle
