Health & Safety Officer (Property Industry)

The Health & Safety Officer acts as the first point of contact for all Health, Safety, and Environmental

(HSE) matters within the company. The primary function of the role is to implement, monitor, and

ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines across all properties in

the portfolio. This includes achieving and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment,

ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and fostering a culture of safety.

  • Develop and enforce OHS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
  • Investigate incidents, compile reports, and recommend preventive measures.
  • Provide OHS training and awareness sessions.
  • Perform site audits and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain safety records, including incidents, permits, and certifications.
  • Facilitate monthly OHS meetings and present reports.
  • Oversee vendor compliance with safety standards.
