As a Head Office Accountant / Analyst you will work closely with senior leadership, providing insights that inform decisions, improve performance, and shape business outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Perform internal audits focused on system integrations, including Point‑of‑Sale platforms
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies and growth opportunities
• Compile daily, weekly and monthly financial and management reports
• Extract, interpret and present data in a clear, concise and commercially relevant manner
• Prepare detailed accounting schedules and supporting documentation
• Assist with ad hoc initiatives, including strategic and operational financial analysis
• Review management accounts, budgets and forecasts for accuracy and insight

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Newly qualified CA(SA) or eligible for CA(SA) registration
• Recently completed SAICA articles
• Exposure to audit, accounting and analytical functions
• Intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas and data analysis)
• Experience working with Pastel or Sage
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills
• Inquisitive mindset with solid commercial awareness
• Comfortable handling large volumes of data
• Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• High level of attention to detail, ownership and accountability
