A leading telecommunications provider seeks a General Manager – Home Pricing Lead in Gauteng, South Africa. This role involves creating and executing pricing strategies for the home business to drive growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance and leadership within the telecom sector, focusing on market competitiveness and innovative solutions to ensure sustainable business performance. The position demands strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the broadband market.
The General Manager – Home Pricing Lead will be responsible for shaping and executing the commercial and financial strategy for the home business across the Group & Opcos.
The incumbent will develop and maintain robust pricing strategies, financial models, and business cases across home services, including FTTH, FWA and bundled services to drive profitable growth, market competitiveness, and sustainable unit economics.
The role will be responsible for owning financial models, developing innovative and differentiated pricing strategies to accelerate the growth and success of the home business, ensuring it stands out in a competitive market.
They will lead the cost and revenue analysis in collaboration with cross‑functional teams to track key economic drivers, optimise unit economics, and improve profitability ensuring strategic alignment between product pricing, operational costs, and long‑term business objectives. Additionally, the role will oversee business intelligence and reporting frameworks that deliver timely insights and home performance dashboards to senior leadership, enabling data‑driven decisions and continuous performance improvement across the Group and Opcos.
The broadband market in Africa is rapidly evolving, with increasing demand for high‑speed, reliable internet access driven by digital transformation, remote working, and the growth of the digital economy.
