• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks or project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs and design tailored Fortinet-based solutions.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and PoC deployments.
• Develop solution architectures and technical proposals.
• Provide expert guidance on Fortinet product capabilities.
• Assist in proposing solutions to RFPs and tenders.
• Lead the implementation, configuration, and deployment of Fortinet solutions.
• Provide hands-on technical support post-deployment.
• Document implementation processes and best practices.

Skills

3+ years of experience in a systems engineering role

Proven experience in pre-sales and post-sales activities

In-depth knowledge of Fortinet products

Strong understanding of networking protocols

Ability to explain complex technical concepts

Willingness to travel across South-Africa

Familiarity with cloud security, SASE, or zero-trust architectures

Education

ND / Degree in Information Technology

Fortinet NSE4 certification

Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP)

CCNA, CCNP

Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point certifications
