Job summary

A prominent trading company in Pretoria is seeking a qualified Fitter & Turner to maintain and test machinery, perform repairs, and adhere to safety standards. Candidates must have a Grade 12 and N2 Technical Certificate, along with at least 2 years of experience in fitting and machining. This role requires the ability to work independently under pressure and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Report equipment defects and repair time estimates.

• Create CNC programmes from drawings or components.
• Manufacture components on CNC machines as per specs.
• Inspect and rig heavy components safely with overhead cranes.
• Ensure ISO, health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Maintain housekeeping in the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
