Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Strategist to lead our financial planning and accounting functions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective financial strategies, directing staff activities in maintaining and analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with statutory legislation and company policies.

Key Responsibilities :

Establish and maintain accurate financial reporting packs, including management accounts and annual reports.

Reconcile financial data, including P&L and AFS, and identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with the CFO to develop and implement financial accounting strategies.

Migrate from Xero to a new accounting system, establishing necessary controls and processes.

Develop succession plans for the role and support regional CFOs in budgeting and forecasting.

Solve software strategic direction and identify opportunities for improvement.

Lead budgeting processes for Labour Net Group, HOF, Regions, and Products.

Assist with audit direction and management assumptions.

Manage cash flow and other fiscal operations and functions.

Requirements

Degree in Finance or Accounting.

Proven experience in financial planning and accounting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Xero and other accounting software.
